CEREC is a dental restoration created in the clinic using a computer and carved out of a block of ceramic by computerized robots. With CEREC technology, everything is done in a single appointment.
How does it work?
After your tooth is trimmed, a series of optical images will be collected using a 3D camera. No more conventional dental impressions!
The dentist will then virtually fabricate the new crown or inlay using a computer. Once the virtual confection is complete, the information will be sent to the machining unit which will manufacture the ceramic block in the desired shape and colour. The new restoration will be cemented in the mouth, all in one single appointment. During this appointment, you will be able to use our Neurospa system to relax.
